NATURE COMES FIRST
The best encounters happen when we don't try to control them.
Weather changes. Wildlife moves. The landscape has its own rhythm.
We work with that uncertainty rather than against it — observing behaviour, keeping respectful distances and adapting our decisions to what is happening around us.
We don't chase an encounter at any cost. Sometimes the right decision is to wait. Sometimes it is to stay farther away. And sometimes it is simply to let an animal move on.
A good encounter should never come at the expense of the animal.
KNOW THE LAND
Knowing where to go is only the beginning.
Patagonia changes constantly. A place that was quiet yesterday may be full of activity today. Wind, light, season and weather can completely change what we find — and where we choose to look.
Time in the field teaches you to notice those changes. To recognize tracks and behaviour, understand how wildlife uses the landscape and know when a familiar place deserves another look.
That knowledge doesn't give us control over what will happen. It simply helps us read the landscape and make better decisions along the way.

STAY FLEXIBLE
The best plan is the one that can change.
No two days in Patagonia unfold in quite the same way. Weather shifts, wildlife moves and sometimes the most interesting moment happens somewhere we hadn't planned to stop.
That is why our experiences are not built around rigid itineraries. We have a direction, but we leave room to change it — to stay longer when something deserves our attention, move on when conditions suggest it, or take another road when the day leads us elsewhere.
Flexibility also means listening to the people traveling with us. Some guests want to spend an hour waiting for the right photograph. Others would rather keep exploring. We adjust the pace to the conditions, the opportunities and the interests of each group.
The itinerary gives us a starting point. The day decides the rest.
